The City of Mountlake Terrace partners with volunteer organizations to offer several events that celebrate our community. The most notable events are Tour de Terrace and Arts of the Terrace Juried Art Show. These events are planned and carried out by volunteers in our community and the city provides these organizations with support. 

The city manages three large community-wide events: 3rd of July Family Celebration, National Night Out Against Crime and the Tree Lighting. 

Our award-winning National Night Out is always held on the first Tuesday evening in August. This event would not be possible without the financial support, donated supplies and participation of our community partners.  Premera Blue Cross is our signature sponsor since the event's inception in 1999.

The Tree Lighting is supported by volunteers of Tour de Terrace who founded this event in 1983.
