Mountlake Terrace Child Care and Youth Programs

We have an experienced team of thoughtful, compassionate and creative teachers who love working with children. They encourage children to explore their world around them and follow their natural curiosity. Every day, our teachers work to create safe and respectful learning environments where each child can grow and flourish. The children are respected for their unique personalities, cultures and developmental milestones and pathways.
Both the preschool and school age programs are state licensed. The preschool program is certified through Early Achievers. All of our staff maintain current First Aid, CPR and BBP certifications. They maintain their food handler’s certifications and attend regular state licensed child care trainings throughout the year. Many of our teachers have college degrees, credits and/or they are working on earning their degrees. Yet, most importantly all of our teachers have a deep desire to help children feel accepted and successful while learning life skills and developing friendships.

These programs are offered on a monthly basis and follow the Edmonds School District calendar. Have your DaySmart Recreation account created before submitting your registration forms. Return completed registration forms to childcare@mltwa.gov or deliver them to the Recreation Pavilion front desk.
