Mountlake Terrace parks system boasts over 269 acres of recreational attractions including parks, playfields, disc golf, fishing, and public open space. The parks system includes:

  • 1 Off-Leash Dog Park
  • 3 sports complexes
  • 5 soccer fields
  • 5 tennis courts
  • 9 baseball/softball fields
  • 9 neighborhood parks
  • 18-hole disc golf course
  • Boat launch (non-gas powered boats only)
  • Fishing and beach access
  • Miles of natural and paved trails

Playfield Reservation Policy

Ball fields are scheduled through the Recreation and Parks Department. To reserve Evergreen Playfields or Ballinger Playfield, please contact the Recreation Pavilion at 425-776-9173. Hourly ball field rental fees are based on the type of use (youth or adult). Costs for added services such as ball field lights and field preparation are charged in addition to the field rental fee.

Neighborhood Parks (non-athletic fields) are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved. Neighborhood Parks include Lake Ballinger Boat and Fishing Access, Bicentennial Park, Firefighters Memorial Park, Jack Long Park, Terrace Creek Park, Terrace Ridge Park and Veterans Memorial Park.

Tennis courts at Evergreen and Ballinger Playfields are available on a first come, first served basis as are picnic facilities and playgrounds located throughout the parks.
