Washington Small Business Development Center (WSBDC) is a network of business advisors, trainers, and support staff who operate from Washington State University, Western Washington University, several of the state’s community and technical colleges, and selected economic development agencies. Our core services revolve around assisting our clients with making better informed business decisions to grow and sustain their businesses. We provide in-depth, confidential, no cost customized one-on one business advising, business training and advisor assisted market intelligence. 

Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) have been helping Washington businesses achieve their full potential for more than 30 years.  Locally, SBDC offers a free, confidential, one-on-one business advising. Edmonds Community College (EdCC) Business Training Center – Are you looking for tools to start or strengthen your business? Edmonds Community College (EdCC) Business Training Center offers courses to help keep your business competitive and state-of-the-art. Whether your company is customer-driven, patient-oriented, service or product based, from 1-1,000 or more employees, their award winning Small Business Development Center (SBDC) can provide training to help your business succeed. Economic Alliance Snohomish County – An economic enterprise aligning the South Snohomish County Chamber of Commerce, the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Development Council of Snohomish County. Economic Alliance Snohomish County is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation with a mission of economic vitality for Snohomish County through targeted Business and Industry Strategies and Services, Business and Economic Advocacy and Community and Economic Resource Development. Our integrated organization provides business leadership and collaboration which produces operational excellence. We create an environment for Business and Community Leaders by working together.

Export Washington - A service of the Washington State Department of Commerce Business Services Division, is the source for Washington State businesses that want to begin exporting or expand their existing export activities.

SCORE (National Office) is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, with more than 10,000 volunteers in 300 chapters. For over 50 years, SCORE has served as a source of free business mentoring and education.  As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE has helped more than 11 million entrepreneurs through mentoring, workshops and educational resources since 1964. EASC and Sno-Isle SCORE provide free in-person counseling for their clients by appointment throughout Snohomish County. Mountlake Terrace Business Association (Reinvesting in Our Community). The Mountlake Terrace Business Association is an organization run and operated by local business owners and operators. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping local businesses and our community.  Their intention is to bring business members together to work as one to reinvest in our community; their goals include:

  • Strengthening a sense of community in Mountlake Terrace
  • Providing an outlet for networking within Mountlake Terrace
  • Grow and improve business within Mountlake Terrace
  • Fundraising for local causes

Internal Revenue Service Small Business - Information not only for taxes, but also for starting a small business, selecting a business structure, record-keeping, etc.

Snohomish County Tourism Bureau – The Snohomish County Tourism Bureau is the designated, year-round, tourism and convention marketing and sales organization contracted by Snohomish County to promote the area as a desirable destination for visitors and meeting planners. The Bureau produces a number of promotional brochures and materials. The Snohomish County Tourism Bureau also assists area businesses with tourism development by providing educational seminars, training sessions and cooperative advertising opportunities. Sno-Isle Libraries Business - SnoIsle Libraries have online and in-library services to help your small business move successfully into the future. This website contains premium online content from various sources, free for SnoIsle Libraries cardholders.

Washington State Department of Commerce - A new search tool from the Department of Commerce aims to help businesses easily find the resources that can make a difference to their success. The site allows users to search for many types of assistance, including microloans, business training, and one-on-one counseling.
